My salutations to all Divine Souls ……

I am extremely happy to see the concentration and feeling of dedication with which all of you are meditating during this auspicious festival of ‘Intensive Devotional Practice (anushthan) of Woman-Power (Stree-Shakti)’. I am able to write all this only because of your feelings; and your emotions are making the Guru-Energies write all this. I am just a medium.

A question is arising in several of you that we women, are part of a family, and the responsibility of the entire family lies on us. So why is Swamiji writing only about us? We are not separate from the family. What can we do alone? But I have realized that no member of your family can do what you are capable of doing, as you are connected to each family member. Therefore if a positive energy has to be spread in the entire family, you can be the best medium for it. You will be happy only when the whole family is happy; that’s why I’m thinking only about you. I don’t see you and your family as separate.

Now you must be wondering what the male sadhaks should be doing during these days. They must take charge of all your work during the anushthan period and leave you free to meditate. It’s been said that doing good karya and helping in good karya are both one and the same. The male sadhaks should take care that you don’t face any problems during your meditation and your chitta is not polluted due to any reason. They’ll achieve everything just by doing this much.

A woman can be like a man if the situation demands it, but a man can’t be like a woman under similar circumstances. This is because the woman has to control her feelings of guilt and self-disgust, and the man has to control his male ego. It is easy to come out of feelings of guilt and disgust, but it’s difficult to give up one’s ego. The greatest problem man faces is of his ego, so he is unable to surrender himself; and surrendering is absolutely necessary in order to learn and practice Samarpan meditation.

Each one of us is half negative and half positive. Thus we can’t have control over our negative thoughts and energies even if we wish to do so. We can have control only if we are connected to the collectivity of positive energies; and that is Samarpan, surrender. All the karya will happen automatically once you are connected to the collectivity. I have stayed for several days in an Ashram for women near the Chinese border, where they prepared everything themselves except salt and oil. The Ashram was run in a very systematic and proper way. You (women) have unlimited capabilities but you are not aware of them. As soon as you are connected to the collectivity, all your hidden talents will automatically come to the fore. This will benefit you and will also your family. Your basic nature is to nurture and distribute, so you’ll definitely distribute the positive energies to your entire family; and this collectivity of positive energies will be of great help to you in the future.

The entire family rests on one woman; the family can remain balanced only if the woman is balanced. I have often seen that families are stable because the woman of the house is balanced. But I have never come across a family which is stable even though the woman is not balanced. I too have become unbalanced several times in my life; but Guruma has played the dual role of a wife and mother and kept me balanced at that time. So I pray to Paramatma that you should establish the same balance in your lives and your family should in turn be balanced by your state. But this can’t happen through my desire for it. You will have to create a ‘collectivity of Stree-Shakti’ for it. I have full faith that the conclusion of this anushthan will bring a new dawn for Woman-Power. Lots and lots of blessings to all of you!
